I was told I would have to have a lumpectomy and possibly a Mastectomy, followed by radiation. I am a little worried about being a larger risk in the future. I did not fall under any of the risk categories. I just happen to have mammograms more often that most because that is my choice. I am so glad I have at least 3 mammograms a year, because that is how they caught it. I was told I caught it in the earliest stage you can possibly catch it. So I say to you Ladies, get mammograms as often as you can, even if you don't fit into the risk category. And keep your head up, we can beat this.
