Dr. Hang Dang

Hang T. Dang, DO, is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist at Breastlink. She focuses on the treatment of benign and malignant breast disease, and specializes in image-guided biopsies, nipple-sparing mastectomy and oncoplastic reconstructive breast surgery.

Dr. Dang incorporates evidence-based multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer treatment with individualized and patient specific care plan. She understands the personal affects of breast cancer and addresses mental, emotional and physical issues involved with such a diagnosis. She is committed to providing excellent services and compassionate care with an understanding of obtaining outstanding cosmetic results.

Dr. Dang graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a B.S and M.S in biology. She then received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stanford, where she stayed to complete a general surgery internship and residency.

After her residency, Dr. Dang completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship, approved by the Society of Surgical Oncology, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. This was followed by an aesthetic breast surgery fellowship at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York. She understands the importance of breast surgery results and strives for excellent cosmetic outcome.

Prior to Joining Breastlink, Dr. Dang completed her board certification and was employed at Guthrie Medical Group in Sayre, Pennsylvania as their fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist. She also has significant experience educating women about breast cancer and has an interest in community education. She has been involved with volunteer medical clinics and the nonprofit group Susan G, Komen®.

Dr. Dang is a current member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American College of Physicians and Association of Women Surgeons.
