Shlomit Ein-Gal, MD, is a board-certified oncologist who has been treating patients in Orange County since 2010. Prior to joining Breastlink, she worked with cancer patients in Laguna Niguel and completed fellowship training at University of California, Irvine (UCI).
At UCI, Dr. Ein-Gal was part of a research project investigating anti-inflammatory phytochemicals as a treatment in patients with advanced cancer. She also worked on a clinical trial investigating the use of pazopanib and paclitaxel in skin cancer patients. Dr. Ein-Gal had previously completed an internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she also completed a UCLA Kennamer General Internal Medicine Fellowship.
She attended medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University in Israel. In addition to her research involving phytochemicals and skin cancer patients, Dr. Ein-Gal has also been part of research projects investigating advanced cancer care models and pancreatic cancer treatments.
As a doctor, Dr. Ein-Gal is committed to a multidisciplinary model of cancer care and to providing compassionate care to patients when they are at their most vulnerable. In her spare time, Dr. Ein-Gal enjoys spending time with her family, biking and reading.
