The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) is one of the most important annual events for breast cancer advocates, doctors and researchers. Some of the most passionate individuals working to find tomorrow’s medical treatments for patients with breast cancer gather to share new knowledge recently learned.
The 2012 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium was held from December 4 to 8 and brought together nearly 8,000 participants from more than 100 countries. The 2012 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium featured noteworthy announcements that may improve evidence-based medicine’s ability to detect, diagnose, treat and prevent breast cancer. In addition to our series of blog posts about the 2012 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (see below), we encourage patients to view official SABCS press releases from this year’s Symposium.
Breastlink, recognizing the importance of the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, sent six members of our team for the full, five-day duration of the conference. We encourage you to read our series of blog posts from this year’s Symposium. James Waisman, M.D. and Nimmi Kapoor, M.D. discuss many of the most exciting clinical developments during SABCS.
