Dr. Paul Tartter
Dr. Paul Tartter is a board-certified, breast-dedicated surgeon working out of Breastlink New York.
Dr. Paul Tartter, MD, graduated in 1977 from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence Rhode Island. He did his residency at the equally renowned Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, completing his training in 1982. He continued at Mount Sinai as Instructor in surgery and became certified by the American College of Surgeons. In 1984 he was promoted to Assistant Professor and in 1989 he became the Chief of the Breast Service and was promoted to Associate Professor. Dr. Tartter has been featured in “The Best Doctors in New York” annual issue of New York Magazine every year from 1991 to the present. He is also listed in Who’s Who in America, Top Doctors in America, and America’s Top Doctors for Cancer.
Dr. Tartter acquired prestige and popularity, not only for his skills as a surgeon, but as a productive scholar, having published over 100 studies in peer reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Tartter formerly practiced with Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center at Mount Sinai West as Senior Surgeon. Dr. Tartter serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Due to his international recognition, he is referred patients from different countries such as Greece, Spain, France, Great Britain, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
