Dr. Ein-Gal
Dr. Shlomit Ein-Gal is an oncologist, board certified in Medical Hematology and Medical Oncology.
At UCI, Dr. Ein-Gal was part of a research project investigating anti-inflammatory phytochemicals as a treatment in patients with advanced cancer. She also worked on a clinical trial investigating the use of pazopanib and paclitaxel in skin cancer patients. Dr. Ein-Gal had previously completed an internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she also completed a UCLA Kennamer General Internal Medicine Fellowship.
She attended medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University in Israel. In addition to her research involving phytochemicals and skin cancer patients, Dr. Ein-Gal has also been part of research projects investigating advanced cancer care models and pancreatic cancer treatments.
As a doctor, Dr. Ein-Gal is committed to a multidisciplinary model of cancer care and to providing compassionate care to patients when they are at their most vulnerable. In her spare time, Dr. Ein-Gal enjoys spending time with her family, biking and reading.
